Christ’s Kitchen and Food Pantry Inc. has been approved by the WV Neighborhood Investment Program to issue WV state tax credit vouchers equal to 50% of the amount of eligible donations.  The voucher is used to directly reduce the donor’s individual or corporate WV state income tax.  For example, a donation of $1000 would result in a reduction of WV state tax owed of $500, resulting in a net cost of $500 for the donor.  Each donation must be a minimum of $500.  This year CKFP Inc. can accept eligible contributions of $15,000 for tax vouchers which translates to a total of $30,000 in donations.  Please note on your check if you are interested in participating in this program.  For questions about NIP, please notify Wayne Kersey, Board President, at wkersey@aol.com.
